ROMPOX® – ECOFINE is a ready-mixed, pressure washer safe, joint mortar made from 98% natural, recycled, or renewable raw materials and produced with our own solar power. The mortar is vacuum packed and hardens/cures after reacting with air. Thanks to its simple application, this highly water-permeable jointing mortar is ideal for professionals and do-it-yourselfers and keeps the joints unsealed. ROMPOX® – Ecofine is used around the house on patios, pathways and driveways with light, occasional car traffic (with non-settling, water-permeable bedding). The paving joint mortar is also particularly suitable for porcelain, ceramic & sensitive surfaces, thanks to it’s resin film free finish.

HOW-TO-APPLY ROMPOX® – ECOFINE
1. Pre-Wet
Intensely pre-wet surface. Porous surfaces as well as higher surface temperatures, require more intense pre-wetting. Standing water in the fresh joint should be avoided.
2. Pour On
Open the vacuum packed bag and pour the ROMPOX® Ecofine jointing mortar on to the pre-wetted surface.
3. Work In
Work the paving joint mortar in to the joints using a gentle spray of water and squeegee to ensure that the joints are completely filled. ROMPOX® – Ecofine must be continuously emulsified with plenty of water.
4. Final Cleaning
Use a damp soft hair broom to do a final cleaning until all residual mortar has been removed from the surface. Sweeping should be done diagonally to the joint. Do not re-use swept off material.
