A Landscape Architect was looking to create a beautiful, low-maintenance surface that complied with local city stormwater management and permeability regulations. Ron Rule Consultants specified ROMEX’s 10-year system warranty in conjunction with natural stone and the project was installed expertly by MisterPaver Hardscapes. The use of ROMPOX® – TRASS BED as the permeable mortar bed provided a sufficient foundation to support pedestrian loading and allowed for efficient water-permeable drainage via the permeable joints and bedding layer. The design team was thus able to reduce costs and carbon emissions on the project by eliminating the requirement for the forming and pouring of a concrete slab.
